Vinyl Window Features

Here are some of the many quality window features.

The better a window’s insulated glass package, the more energy savings and comfort it will provide for your home! The window industry measures the energy efficiency of their products in terms of thermal transmission, or U-Factor (the lower the value the better). The industry standard is a U-Factor rating of 0.30.

This tilt latch and lock system completely eliminates the traditional, unsightly tilt latches and enables easy, one-touch tilt-in operation.

Sculpted interior and exterior design delivers a refined new look. The authentic cove-mold wood design produces a beautiful window while the slim profile maximizes your view.

Every possible main-frame and sash chamber is fully insulated with softly expanding, environmentally friendly polyurethane foam insulation, which improves the overall thermal performance of Elements Windows.

This innovative triple-fin weather-stripping features anti-microbial biocide that provides high protection against mold, mildew, airborne bacteria, and pollen. Not only does this special weather-stripping resist deteriorating and collapsing over time, but it also contributes towards Elements having the best Air Infiltration rating on the market!

This sill features a neoprene gasket that straddles a rail under compression and works with triple-fin weather-stripping for a tight seal. A mechanical interlock holds the bottom of the sash in place under severe stress. ComfortFoam inside the sill is a unique thermal feature not present in most window sill designs.

All corners are fusion welded and cleaned using the best robotic equipment available, which is far superior to most lesser-quality vinyl windows, as well as all fiberglass and wood windows, that are simply “screwed and glued” together at the seams.

For the ultimate in durability, Kevlar-reinforced meeting rails is five times stronger than steel, and over 700 times better thermally than aluminum. K-Beam will not transfer heat or cold through the window as common metal reinforced windows do.

Elements uses two superior, grade 10 forced-entry-tested vent latches on each Elements Double Hung window. When you’re home, you can leave your windows open for ventilation and still feel secure.

This heavy-duty constant force balance system provides quiet and smooth operation, while making it very easy to operate sashes with minimal effort.

These "solid" colors run deep from the interior to the exterior of your window. Never worry about scratching the color off. It's impossible! The beautiful satin finish of Soft-White is an extruded colorfast white that was the winning choice of focus group surveys against competitive "white" windows. Lifetime Warranty.

Now your windows inside can be as beautiful as your fine furniture. Interior Woodgrain Colors give you the look of real wood without the problems of periodic varnishing or painting.

Delta-E Reflective Foil Laminates are a step up from Sure-Coat in longevity. They carry a prorated Lifetime Warranty.

Sure-Coat is available in 14 standard colors. Additional custom colors to match any exterior available. Sure-Coat is warranted for 10 years and can be reapplied in the field anytime afterward.
